La Rose Vivier Pièce Unique continues the thread first introduced in Roger Vivier’s Autumn Winter 2025/26 prêt-à-porter collection celebrating the rose: a delicate yet unflinching flower, drawn from the Maison’s own archive and now brought into full bloom. In this new Pièce Unique chapter for Autumn Winter 2025/26, the rose is not simply worn. It is sculpted, embroidered, imagined— transformed into eight singular Efflorescence Jewel bags, accompanied by two matching gilets that extend the silhouette with graceful coherence.

At the heart of this collection is a rare Parisian conversation. For the first time, Roger Vivier collaborates with Lesage, the revered Parisian embroidery house, in the context of a Pièce Unique collection. This creative dialogue is rooted in history: throughout his career Roger Vivier worked closely with Lesage, especially in the 1980s, weaving embroidery into the very fabric of his artistic vision. Now, this long-standing relationship finds new expression.

Lesage opened its archive, and from its depths—boxes of beaded appliqués, forgotten textures, fragments of antique grandeur—Creative Director Gherardo Felloni drew breath. This is not homage, nor reproduction, but interpretation. The Maison’s couture savoir-faire meets the ancestral craft of Lesage in works of pure invention.
Here, embroidery is not applied. It is embedded into the very concept of the object. Each bag begins as an idea, a whisper from the past—a faded rose on a bodice, a velvet cape stitched with gold thread, a clutch of hand-dyed petals. These are not accessories, but memory made tangible.

The presentation space becomes an extension of the collection’s dreamlike quality. Wrapped in pale yellow velvet, Roger Vivier’s Salle d’Argent glows with warmth. Ceramic rose petals in varying shades of pink and honey drift across the walls, at once playful and surreal. Some cradle the bags themselves—delicate installations within larger blooms—creating moments of quiet discovery.

The collection’s two gilets, made using the same exquisite embroidery techniques, mirror the intricacy of the bags they accompany. They are not garments, but continuations—echoes, like perfume left in the air.
La Rose Vivier Pièce Unique is a study in contrasts: softness and sharpness, tradition and transformation, the natural and the extraordinary. Through the hands of Lesage and the vision of Roger Vivier, the rose is reborn—timeless, but never still.

Rooted in the heart of Paris, both Roger Vivier and Lesage embody a uniquely French tradition of artistry—steeped in history yet always forward looking. This collection draws on that shared heritage: a Parisian sensibility defined by elegance, precision, and an enduring reverence for craft.
