The 2025 Fashion Trust Arabia Award Winners: A Season Celebrating Creativity and Rising Regional Talent

Nov 23, 2025

In an elegant evening hosted at the National Museum of Qatar, the seventh edition of the Fashion Trust Arabia Awards reaffirmed its status as one of the most influential platforms supporting emerging fashion talent across the Middle East and North Africa. With a global audience of designers, industry leaders, and fashion icons, FTA celebrated a new cohort of creatives whose work reflects fresh perspectives in craftsmanship, innovation, and visual identity, proving once again that the region is home to remarkable talent worthy of international recognition.

This year's eight winning designers across ready to wear, accessories, jewellery, and debut talent embody the diversity and ambition that continue to drive the region’s fashion landscape forward.

Ready-to-Wear Award: Youssef Drissi — Morocco

Moroccan designer Youssef Drissi captivated attention with pieces that blend contemporary Moroccan influences and clean, elevated lines. His collection offered a mature vision of ready to wear, rooted in heritage yet distinctly modern, positioning him as one of the standout rising designers of the year.

Eveningwear Award: Ziyad Albuainain

Ziyad Albuainain stole the spotlight with evening gowns shaped like living sculptures. His strong aesthetic identity, defined by innovative volumes and architectural silhouettes, earned admiration from the judging panel and reinforced his status as one of the most exciting young names in eveningwear design.

Accessories Award: Leila Roukni

Leila Roukni presented an accessories collection marked by boldness, thoughtful simplicity, and impeccable detail. Her work carries a modern signature that appeals to a market seeking distinctive statement pieces without sacrificing the practicality desired by today’s accessories lovers.

Jewellery Award: Farah Radwan

Farah Radwan continues to create jewellery that goes beyond adornment, transforming into intimate visual narratives. This year’s collection, rich with symbolism and emotional resonance, showcased her mastery in shaping gold and gemstones into pieces that feel deeply personal. Her win highlights the strength of regional designers in building their own distinct design language.

Franca Sozzani Debut Talent Award: Alaa Alaradi

Among the emerging talents, Alaa Alaradi shone with a design approach characterized by experimentation, boldness, and fresh creative energy. Winning this award, reserved for designers at the early stages of their careers, marks an important step in shaping her future brand identity.

Fashion Tech Award: Fatema & Dalal Alkhaja

Innovation held a strong presence this year. The Fashion Tech Award went to Fatema and Dalal Alkhaja for their project Touchless, which reflects a global shift toward integrating technology into fashion. Their work demonstrates that the new generation of regional designers recognizes that the future of fashion lies not only in aesthetics but also in practical solutions that enhance everyday life.

Guest Country Award – India: Kartik Kumra

Representing India, Kartik Kumra delivered a collection that beautifully merges traditional craftsmanship with modern sensibilities. His designs highlight the enduring power of heritage when reimagined through a contemporary lens, earning him the Guest Country Award for 2025.

Lifetime Achievement Award: Miuccia Prada

This year, FTA honored fashion titan Miuccia Prada, head designer and billionaire leader of Prada and founder of Miu Miu. Her recognition marks the first time since its founding in 2018 that Fashion Trust Arabia awards a Lifetime Achievement Award, making this milestone particularly significant.

Why the 2025 Edition Stands Out

The 2025 edition reaffirmed that Fashion Trust Arabia is far more than an awards ceremony, it is a catalyst for transformative change. With exceptional global attendance, the event offered designers unprecedented visibility and the opportunity to share their creative identities with a wider audience.

At a moment when the fashion industry is evolving at an accelerated pace, FTA 2025 made it clear that the region is not merely keeping up, it is contributing with a bold, confident, and forward looking voice.

Since 2018, Fashion Trust Arabia has become one of the region's most influential platforms supporting emerging designers, providing financial backing, mentorship, and global exposure to talents across the Middle East and North Africa.

What began as a unique initiative has since evolved into a benchmark for discovering the creative forces shaping the future of fashion.
