What struck me most was the way Prada approached the idea of contrast. A utilitarian piece met one typically reserved for evening wear, or something overtly feminine. Yet the combinations were far from random, they were meticulously crafted to form a new expression of modern elegance. It was as if Prada were telling us that old rules no longer hold power, and that true freedom in fashion lies in a woman's ability to recompose her identity through clothing.
The fabrics and silhouettes were airy and unrestrained, moving around the body rather than dictating to it. Skirts were suspended from the shoulders instead of the waist, while bras took on unexpected, independent shapes. Each design contributed to a radical rethinking of a garment's purpose.
