Dubai, 23rd May, 2025 – Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts is delighted to announce that Il Ristorante - Niko Romito and Hōseki Restaurant, both located at Bvlgari Resort Dubai, have once again retained their prestigious Michelin stars in the 2025 edition of the MICHELIN Guide Dubai. This remarkable recognition underscores their continued commitment to culinary excellence and reinforces their status as two of the city’s most exceptional dining destinations.
Hōseki Restaurant, Dubai’s most intimate omakase experience, led by sixth-generation sushi master Chef Masahiro Sugiyama, has maintained its coveted one Michelin star. Now seating 17 guests following the introduction of a new counter, the restaurant remains a benchmark of refined Japanese dining in the region. Drawing from Tokyo’s finest markets, Chef Sugiyama curates an evolving omakase menu based on the freshest seasonal ingredients, now available for both lunch and dinner. Each service is a deeply personal expression of time, season, and tradition.

Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, under the visionary direction of Chef Niko Romito and the leadership of Resident Chef Giacomo Amicucci, has once again been awarded two Michelin stars — a distinction held by only a handful of restaurants in the region. This prestigious accolade reaffirms the restaurant’s position as a beacon of contemporary Italian cuisine, blending elegance, precision, and heritage in every dish.

In recognition of this ongoing excellence, Resident Chef Giacomo Amicucci was invited to cook at the official MICHELIN Guide Ceremony, representing Il Ristorante – Niko Romito alongside a prestigious lineup of international chefs including Antonio Klugmann, Solemann Haddad, Dmitry Blinov, and Jhovani Manolo — showcasing the very best of Romito’s contemporary Italian vision on one of the industry’s most important stages.

“We are incredibly honoured to retain our Michelin stars again this year,”
says Resident Chef Giacomo Amicucci.
"It reflects the tireless commitment of our kitchen and service teams, and our ongoing journey to bring a refined, meaningful version of Italian cuisine to Dubai.”
Chef Masahiro Sugiyama adds,
“Hōseki is about purity and presence. Every dish is a quiet celebration of seasonality and technique. To see our efforts recognised again is truly humbling.”

Pep Lozano, General Manager of Bvlgari Resort Dubai, commented,
“These awards speak to the talent, discipline, and heart of our culinary teams. At Bvlgari Resort Dubai, our vision is to offer experiences that are not only luxurious, but also culturally rich and deeply considered. We are proud to be home to two Michelin-starred restaurants that reflect this standard.”
With over 160 years of family sushi traditions, Chef Sugiyama is the 6th generation of sushi masters from Tokyo.
